During her gubernatorial campaign, Bev Perdue said one of her first stops as governor would be Wilmington. It’s been a few months, but that visit is finally scheduled. The governor will lead a town hall meeting on improving education and workforce development in North Carolina. Perdue will be joined by North Carolina Community College President Scott Ralls and State Board of Education CEO Bill Harrison. That town hall meeting is open to the public on Wednesday, April 1, from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. at the BB&T Auditorium on Cape Fear Community College’s North Campus.
