Wilmington area charities see a nice boost from Azalea Garden Tour

Flower watchers have offered a big boost for Wilmington area charities. The Cape Fear Garden Club tells WWAY this year's Azalea Garden Tour brought in about $78,000, which will be distributed among local charities. While that is down a bit from last year, it is an impressive figure given the economy and the loss of some corporate sponsors. You can find grant applications on the Cape Fear Garden Club website. Applications are due by June 15th.
