State Republicans are asking the Board of Elections to investigate Governor Perdue’s campaign travel. Republican Party Chairman Tom Fetzer said he wrote elections board leaders seeking a formal investigation into Perdue’s committee and the state Democratic Party. Fetzer wants elections officials to look closely at 17 private flights the Bev Perdue committee said it had not disclosed or paid properly. The Democratic Party executive director said the complaint has no merit. The board already is examining private flights by former Governor Mike Easley.

I am with you anyone in office that is suppected of doing wrong should be looked at.I hope for our teachers and childrens sake that come voting time EVERYONE votes this chick OUT…..She said during her whole campaign that she was going to protect our teachers and help them so more people would want to become tearchers and what is the FIRST thing she did?CUT teachers pay and decreased teachers in the schools. Now who suffers for that? The children exspecially the ones who need the extra help. The lady is just like the rest of them doing what she needs to do to keep her pockets fatter..I mean really why is she raising our taxes not just once but twice in the last 3 months, our roads are not getting the attention that she said they need, which is one of the BIG reasons for all the tax hipe.Anyway if she is doing wrong then she needs to be delt with by the law.I know that I am voting her out and just about every educator I talk to is voting her out…SHE NEEDS TO GO!!!!!I am not an educator but I see it as they are the ones that are teaching my children so they can become educated members of soceity and get decent jobs when they are grown so they will be able to live in this crazy world we live in.
