RALEIGH, NC (WWAY) — The Attorney General wants to see the owner of a paving company with a history of problems in court next week. Tommy Clack has been on Roy Cooper’s radar since 2007, when clack worked here in Wilmington.
Cooper won an injunction the next year that required clack to pay $50,000 and fix substandard paving work. Another court order later that year tried to keep clack from pressuring customers, especially seniors, into paying too much for bad work. That led Clack to move to South Carolina, where he was investigated and arrested.
Now Cooper says Clack is back in the Tar Heel State and up to his old tricks. New violations could land Clack in jail.
