some of you are comenting on how wonderful our law enforcement is doing...I realize it's drugs but what about letting a deputy speed, crash and nothing happened? I ask you to think the drugs can mess up your child but a crash into your car head on by some stupid B*^ch cop can kill your family? I almost wonder if she was tested?

You know what guest555, because of a drug dealer my daughter overdosed on heroin the night before last...she lived and is in detox...but let me find the bastard that dealt it to her!!! He better hope the cops get to him or her first...I don't care how many guns they have!!!

Yep election time is comming up..

I'm looking forward to Mr. Pope taking over the District Attorney 's office.

you can tell its almost election time:)

I think they should come up with better names for their operations. "bad candy" sounds like something from a comedy show.

Really? You don't get it? It is Halloween...Drugs = Bad Candy? Kids go trick or treating, so they are keeping the "bad candy" out of their hands....sheesh

Thank You Sheriff John Ingram for keeping Brunswick County safer today. I know this was a six month investigation leading up to these arrests so for those who think this was politically motivated, think again.

The Brunswick County sheriff's department is filled with nothing more than tool bags who have nothing better to do. john ingram is an embarrassment to the county. He is immoral and crooked.

Take all the dealers off the street an keep them in JAIL. Make there bonds so high that they have to sit in there for years !!!!

I could care less if its politically motivated or not....but Ingram CAN "git er done"!!!

think about people. how many people worked for 6 mos.to bust how many people with only 1600 dollar amoungst them? Where did all the money go?And why harrass a bunch hungry hoodlums and not go after the big wheel politicion that is bringing loads of drugs into this country every day.Only the crooked judges and blood sucking attourneys will benefit from that drug bust!! But ain't that America.

Wait until one of them "hungry Hoodlums" sells drugs to your son or daughter, I bet your tune will change then about who they bust.....

A drug dealer may have a slimey job and I don't condone it, but at the end of the day, parents with drug addict children need to wake up and realize that a drug dealer has a product for sale, they don't roll the joint, they don't put the crack in the pipe or cook the dope on the spoon and inject it into your children's arm..... drugs need to be taking off of the street so people will have less oppurtunity to ruin thier lives..... but parents quit acting like the drug dealer forced your children to get HIGH..... Monitor what they do, be the PARENT!

i agree with you completely no one is forcing anyone to do drugs everone has a choice in that matter

I think more than "blood sucking attorneys and crooked judges" will benefit from this drug bust, how about all the kids and drug addicts these drugs were going to. Have you ever thought that every little bit helps? Even the smallest drug dealer still poisons our street and even the smallest drug user poisons our country! Way to go Brunswick County Sherrifs Office, good job!

They may have $1600 collectively but it is the information they can and hopefully will provide that will be priceless! See you need a little something called evidence and probable cause before conducting searches and making arrests. These street level dealers will "deal" their way out of prison time by forgoing the information needed to get the big boys/gals! New Hanover County has done it many times before. In fact, several major players are sitting in federal prison as a result of busting a bunch of little players. Besides, how much money would you want the county to spend to get every little bit of dope out of your family members hands. All it takes is one crack rock left laying around at some park and you will be complaining that the police did nothing to prevent your son, daughter, neice or grandchild from dying. Big level players don't play at the park, they play safely from the comfort of their nice houses and fancy cars!

By then the Election will be over, and they will go back to pulling over tax paying citizens for rolling through stop signs or not wearing their seatbelts.

If you think this has ANYTHING to do with 'getting poison off the streets' and not showboating as if they are cracking down on the drug trade and getting 'tough on crime' right before the election, then I have a wonderful bridge I would like to sell you.
