WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Wilmington-based Port City Java is changing hands. Steve Schnitzler, head of PCJ Ventures LLC, says the coffee house chain was bought Feb. 1 by Black Gold Holdings LLC, which is owned by Wilmington businessman W. Cecil Worsley, III, who also owns an oil and convenience store business in the area.

Schnitzler says he will stay on as CEO of Port City Java under the new ownership.
