BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — Another candidate says he plans to run for Mike McIntyre’s seat in Congress next year.

Tim Wilkes of Supply says he plans to take on Ilario Pantano in the Republican primary. Wilkes described himself as “a hardworking family man.”

An Army veteran, he said he plans to run a campaign that mirrors how he and his wife run their own home and how they would like government to work, by spending only money on hand and replacing dollars spent with hard work.

I am a Republican who is urging others to challenge the front runner, Ilario Pantano. I believe he will lose in the general election in 2012 just as he did in 2010. Pantano has way too much baggage. Please look at my blog (linked to my name) to learn more about my views.

Mr. Wilkes is strong for raising 7 head of young ‘uns. Thanks for getting into the race — you have my support. Hopefully other candidates will enter the race too — perhaps Carolyn Justice or Bill Knopp. Anyone but Pantano. Gotta be from these parts and not kill people to get my vote. That’s my view, what’s yours? Peter

I agree with this comment. We need to know more about this guy who has just declared.

Pantano should get a job and quit playing on his noteriety.

Meanwhile, we need to know more about his opponents.

Thanks for playing, but unfortunately you already lost. Honesty and Hard Work have NO PLACE in today’s government! Here’s a windbreaker for playing the game. Good Luck next time!

Last I checked this was America and I never was much for thinking you have to be rich to succeed, hard work and sweat can acheive anything!
    Sincerely,
    Tim Wilkes
