WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Children at Ogden Elementary School were thinking about possible careers today The students were able to learn about different careers, at the school’s annual Truck Career Day.

“You go to different vendors, you go to different companies, and you just see how they work and see what it really is like,” student Morgan Bettenhausen said.

Kids talked to several companies and careers that depend on trucks to get them through their day. The trucks included everything from county fire trucks to privately owned dump trucks, even WWAY’s live truck.

“It’s like a scavenger hunt, so we have to find questions and answer them,” student Kara Britt said.
