WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Queen Azalea Heather French Henry will cut the ribbon Friday morning on the Azalea Garden Tour.
Our next stop on this year’s tour takes us marshside to the Randazzo home. This garden is as beautiful as the home’s French architecture.
The front showcases terrific symmetry with perfectly trimmed hedges and an artful bronze statue.
Head out to the back of the home, and you can’t help but notice a spacious bog garden. This is also accented with some great spring color as pink azaleas are just coming into bloom.
“I think the beauty of the yard is the architecture,” owner Sandra Randazzo said. “And I think as you approach the home, you notice the symmetry and the formality of the front; but much more casual in the rear as you approach the marsh.”
In addition to the statue in the front, two other matching bronze statues can be found in the back of the home. All the flowers in this garden have soft colors with pinks, purples and blues that complement the relaxing nature of the marsh.
