Whiteville fight mom case delayed

Aneshia Cartret was scheduled for court in Whiteville Tuesday morning but her case has now been moved to June 14. An attorney representing Cartret asked that the mom's case be continued for another date; the court granted the request. Cartret is charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor and public disturbance after she allegedly drove her teenage daughter to a street fight. The mom is also accused of cheering her daughter on during the fight.

Why does Columbus County

Why does Columbus County keep continuing cases that need to be handled now, not months down the road? Just wasting Tax Payers money....Wasting time of the lawyers, judges, clerk of court....
Wasting electricity..... Wasting time especially with folks that this is not their first appearance to the courthouse... Decide the case and move on to the next case of Stupidity!

Aneshia Cartrette

On the division of the district. This group was successful in dividing the Judicial District so that Rhone Sasser's son could gain power over a much liked female judge with much more experience. These men played 13 into 13a and 13b a few years back.
Well do you not see the strategy. Keep it put off and maybe the investigator will move or die etc. It is a tactic so that backroom dealings can happen in the interim. Justice delayed is justice denied. Typical for Columbus and for this woman. She always gets kept off of the calendar and eventually gets off completely. Just go look at her file. The proof is in the pudding.
