Three dead in Bladen County

BLADEN COUNTY, NC (WWAY) -- The Bladen County Emergency Operations Center confirms there are three people dead after storms ripped through Bladen County this afternoon. They say two people are dead in Ammon north of Elizabethtown. One person is dead in Bladenboro.

The Emergency Operations Center opened three shelters around the county Saturday evening, but all three were closed by 10:45 p.m.

Bladen County residents with power line issues, tree down issues and general questions should call the numbers below:

After forgetting (yet again) to make sure our road had power,(Evers Road) Four County Electric came back out again and about 9:30 got our power back on. I know they were exhausted, but they came, saw and fixed it for us.
