WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — The end of the NFL lockout will eventually mean back to work for a couple of players from Wilmington.

Hoggard grad Connor Barth is a kicker for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He told us this afternoon, though, he’s still in the Port City waiting to find out when the Bucs will start offseason workouts.

New Hanover and ECU alum Jay Ross hopes to win a spot on the Green Bay Packers’ defensive line. He said he plans to leave Thursday to join the World Champs in Wisconsin.
