WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) -- In this week's Kitchen Cops report, theirs is one low performer to tell you about.
At Pizza Hut at 112 K Village Rd. in Leland inspectors found a number of problems including the prep cooler was moldy inside with uncovered food, many soiled dishes and pans with food debris after cleaning. Alfredo and meat sauce stored/not cool enough. Pans and trays were stacked wet. Bags of pasta were stored open. Restroom repairs are needed, and other cleaning and repair items.
Inspectors noted that the pizza prep cooler must repaired to hold foods safely to 45 degrees or below within 10 days or an intent to suspend will be issued.
