GOLDSBORO, NC (AP) — Quick action by a group of teens has
helped save the lives of four car wreck victims in Wayne County.

WTVD reported Tuesday the six students were swimming in a creek
when they heard a loud crash and found a wrecked car by a road.

Jeremy Jones said they first helped a man and two women out of
the vehicle, then lifted the car to free driver Matthew Williams
who was trapped beneath it.

A short time after, the car caught fire and burned.

Williams was listed in critical condition at Pitt Memorial
Hospital. The other three were treated for minor injuries.
