BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — The Brunswick County Sheriff’s is searching for a man who robbed a bank this afternoon.

Investigators say at 12:43 p.m. a white male about 5’7″, 125 pounds, medium build, brown short hair with a goatee, wearing a black shirt entered Waccamaw Bank at 3045 Holden Beach Rd. near Holden Beach. The suspect handed the teller a note stating he had a gun and for her to give him all the money. The teller complied with the request and the man left on foot and walked behind the bank.

Deputies say the suspect could be armed and dangerous.
