RALEIGH, NC (WWAY) — Despite the override of the veto of the state budget, Gov. Bev Perdue is doing better among voters.

A poll by Public Policy Polling finds 36 percent of North Carolina voters approve of the job Perdue is doing, while 47 percent disapprove. This is Perdue’s highest approval rating in the past six months.

Another poll showed 42 percent said they had more faith in Gov. Perdue leading the state. That’s compared to 40 percent who said they trusted legislative leaders. Eighteen percent were not sure.

Are you serious?

Her own National Party has labeled her the Governor most at risk to lose her re-election bid.

She has the lowest approval ratings of any Governor in the Country.

Was the poll taken at a meeting of the North Carolina Educators Association before they learned her veto of the budget was over ridden?

Or maybe a poll of the employees who serve on the Governor’s staff and at the Mansion.

WWAY carrying the Gov’s water again? Sad…

An approval rating of 36% means to most NC residents that the Governor has failed in her job.

An approval rating of only 36% means that most NC residents feel that Governor Perdue has done poorly in her job.

In the real world, a 36% approval rating would get a person fired. This is the HIGHEST rating she can boast of? How low has it been? I hope she has her bags packed.

She is without a doubt a joke. Yaw really think she cares about North Carolina at all? I have inside information that would make your toes curl up. I feel very sorry for anyone who has to deal with her. She really has no care for what she puts people through as far as her so called job goes. All you have to do to become one of her staff is get her re-elected and then you can have a job in Raleigh doing anything you want. Even if you aren’t qualified for the position. I know if someone right now she hired and he has no idea what he is doing. The position he was hired for is for the DMV, a state job. He comes from a background of selling cars. Or at least his WIFE and her father own a car lot. That is all. He got the job because he went out and campaigned for Ms. Perdue and then hassled her until she gave him the position. I say it is time for re-election and getting someone who really knows what we need. But, of course I have written this before and WWAY has never posted my comment. Let’s see who really is carrying the water for her now.
