ORLANDO,FL (WWAY) — The Wilmington Hammerheads couldn’t beat the Orlando City Lions when they played each other at Legion Stadium in Wilmington a few weeks ago. On the road on Saturday night the Hammerheads managed a 1-1 draw against Orlando City. Andriy Budnyy scored in the 84th minute to knot the game at one apiece. Budnyy entered the game as a substitute in the second half. Saturday’s goal was third third of the season for Andriy Budnyy.

Former UNCW keeper Brock Duckworth has started every game for the Hammerheads this season, but goalkeeper Kyle Polak got the start for Wilmington on Saturday. The Hammerheads will host Charlotte on Tuesday night at Legion Stadium. That’ll be a second round US Open Cup match.
