LEXINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Recent UNC Wilmington grad Josh Brock finished in a tie for tenth place in the four-day Bolle Classic Saturday. The former New Hanover Wildcat earned $3,683 for his effort. It’s his first pay check as a professional golfer.

The Bolle Classic on the E Golf Tour was Brock’s second professional event. He missed the cut earlier this month at an E Golf Tour event in Charlotte.

This weekend Brock fired a 65 at the Salisbury Country Club in the first round. He shot another 65 in the second round in Lexington at the Sapona Golf Club, but he finished with a 68 and a 70 to drop to a tie for tenth overall.

Former UNC Charlotte golfer Corey Nagy won the Bolle Classic with a 23 under par total. Brock finished 16-under for the tourney.
