CERRO GORDO, NC (WWAY) — West Columbus High School Football Coach T.J. Spivey announced today that’s he resigning his position.

Spivey texted the news to WWAY’s John Rendleman while at the annual East/West game in Greensboro this week.

He was hired as the head coach back in March and has yet to coach one game.

barring a health issue, certainly leaves a group of young men without a leader at the helm.
