WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — The Cape Fear Museum today capped off a summer camp of a different sort.

Each day, 11- and 12-year-old campers learned about a new aspect of running a museum; such as searching for exhibit pieces and how to care for the artifacts. At the end of the weeklong Museumology camp they also created their own exhibits about hats, music, photography and shells.

The campers unveiled their exhibits today to show off to family and friends. The children’s exhibits will be on display at the Cape Fear Museum until mid-September.
