WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) -- A Wilmington mom was among a group of mothers named "Persons of the Week" on Friday's edition of "World News with Diane Sawyer."
Rachel Fox is a mom blogger who joined a group of like-minded women that traveled to Kenya recently for a week to provide humanitarian aid. Friday night "World News" honored the ten women who are part of the ONE.org campaign.
During their trip to Kenya, ABC's David Muir followed their travels and the work they did helping people in need.

How is this possible?
How can these people survive day to day without public housing, government food vouchers, Medicaid, and free cell phones?
Anyway, thank you, Ms. Fox, for taking time out to care for those who TRULY deserve our assistance. I'm a big fan and supporter of several organizations who drill wells in Africa and India. Nothing turns a village around faster than eliminating the need to carry water five miles from the nearest source.
Ummm..
churches across our community do this on a regular basis.......
Yes, but...
Yes, but we don't want to honor churches because it may send the message that we condone them.
well done!!! brave lady!

Rachel is a true inspiration
Rachel is a true inspiration and I am ever humbled by her dedication to make a positive difference in the world. Thank you Rachel for being the "ONE"!
A life well lived
Whatever happens to this young woman in the future- she can know that she has, " A LIFE WELL LIVED."
