BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — The Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office and ATF have arrested two men on various drug-related charges. The arrests come after a year-long investigation that ended with a search warrant at a home in Leland.

The Sheriff’s Office says about 9 p.m. Monday, agents searched the house at 992 Ashland Way in the Windsor Park subdivision. Officers found about three kilograms of cocaine, roughly $12,000 in cash and a handgun.

Officers arrested Hartley Bailey, 44, and Eric Andre Fields, 40. Both Bailey and Fields are in the Brunswick County Jail under $1,500,000 secured bond. They are charged with trafficking in cocaine and conspiring to traffic in cocaine.

The investigation continues.

I can tell you have never been to jail BC to wish that on somebody is sick ! You also act like you have never made a mistake.. I’m not from Wilmington but I’m looking to move there. Are all the people there either an ass or a drug dealer?

…and don’t take drug dealing, child poisoning thieves lightly at all. We encourage and assist our LEOs when the opp comes about. We watch out for and protect our neighbors and children (unless we live in Creekwood, they just shoot each other after drug deals).

Tell ya what “baltimore’s own”. Do yourself a big favor and keep your tightie-whities parked where they are. We do not need, welcome or otherwise encourage wise-asses of your nature to become a long term member of our society here in Wilmington.

On top of that, since you admittedly have jail-time experience, I can tell you that you definitely don’t want to experience ours, but from your attitude, you’ll likely find your self in there well afore ya know it!!!
