FIRST ON 3: Blaylock tells 911 Berger threatened to hurt himself and has cut himself before (CALL ATTACHED)

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) -- New Hanover County 911 has released a call it received Monday night from Brian Berger's girlfriend Heather Blaylock. She tells the 911 operator that Berger texted her that he was going to hurt himself, that he sent her a picture of a cut, that he has two guns in his study and that he has anger management issues.

New Hanover County 911 has edited parts of the call. We have also inquired whether they distorted the voices, but have not heard back.

Sounds like to me that the voices are distorted. Sometimes they can be slowed down, which can make them sound "trashed".
