Man convicted in 2009 death of Southport woman

Southport, NC (WWAY) — A man charged with killing a 62 year old Southport woman in 2009 has been found guilty of first degree murder and armed robbery. Lee Roy Jolly, Jr. was charged with killing Gladys Myrie in her home in May of 2009. After a week long trial, a Brunswick county jury found Jolly guilty.

Jolly will serve a life sentence without possibility of parole.

    okay look he might of got conviceted of it but i know him he is my life and he did dont kill that old lady there wax 5 guys at that house that night and his dad was involved so was aj and so was kurt and some mexion guy so everyone needs to get the story strait i mean everyone knows him come on he could not of killed that poor lady like that he didnt give up the other guys bc if he did than oh lord he would be a dead man get the damn story straight
