RALEIGH, NC (AP) — President Barack Obama is touting the benefits of his new jobs bill for small businesses, which he says have not rebounded from the recession as well as large corporations.

After touring a machine company in North Carolina, Obama pitched initiatives in the $447 billion plan that he says would give tax breaks to small businesses and allow them to hire more workers.

Obama says the bill would put 19,000 thousands construction workers in North Carolina back on the job. The administration hasn’t released estimates of how many jobs the bill would create nationwide.

Obama’s speech in North Carolina was his third event to promote the jobs bill in as many days.

What’s so hard about working?
People work hard all the time at attaining entitlements, getting over, slacking on the job and endorsing the worst possible candidates for elected office by blindly listening to the loudest blowhard. Get the bus ready, we transporting the church congregation to the voting booth in 14 months. We working hard…
What your point????

Obama’s staff goofed. Apex’s owner is a democratic donor to Obama. Apex also is non-union and has shifted most of it’s work to Costa Rica because of lower wages.

Why didn’t Obama propose this last year, or 2 years ago? Why is he doing it now? Could the election in 2012 have anything to do with it?

“Obama says the bill would put 19,000 thousands construction workers in North Carolina back on the job.” Hmmmmmm! How much is 19,000 thousands anyway? This must be the same “new math” Obama uses when he tells us how he has turned this country around and fixed what Bush screwed up. Does NC have that many construction workers that are unemployed? 19,000 thousands???? Don’t ask me, I’m not smart enough to answer that, but I am smart enough not to give Obama my vote in ’12.

General Electric is planning to move its 115-year-old X-ray division from Waukesha, Wis., to Beijing. In addition to moving the headquarters, the company will invest $2 billion in China and train more than 65 engineers and create six research centers. This is the same GE that made $5.1 billion in the United States last year. but paid no taxes-the same company that employs more people overseas than it does in the united States.

So let me get this straight. President Obama appointed GE Chairman Jeff Immelt to head his commission on job creation (job czar). Immelt is supposed to help create jobs. I guess the President forgot to tell him in which country he was supposed to be creating those jobs.

If this doesn’t show you the total lack of leadership of this President, I don’t know what does. Please pass this information to others and think about it before you buy a GE product.
