WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — A new TV show that shot its pilot in the Wilmington area hits the air tonight. "Revenge" premieres at 10 p.m. on ABC and WWAY.

The drama, set in New York’s tony Hamptons, stars Emily VanCamp and Madeleine Stowe.

ABC says only the first episode was shot in our area before production moved to the west coast. Still, there’s plenty of local scenery to see.

for the film czar or commissioner.

How much in tax incentives were handed the producers for the filming only to be learned after the fact, only one episode would be filmed in the area before production returned to the West Coast?

  • Guest Page says:

How many local taxpayers were employed with the production and for how long?

  • Guestgust says:

Why not contact Johnny Griffin directly? He’s pretty accessible. We’re seeing the busiest year yet in NC, thanks to the increase in the film incentives.

After watching it last night, as far as I’m concerned, it should have stayed in CA.

  • SurfCityTom says:

Mr.Griffin not make himself available to the media? After all of the negative comments made on this and other sites by yours truly and many others against film incentives, here’sa perfect opportunity for him to get out from behind his desk and in front of the camera.

For the record, where has all this busy year activity been taking place in NC?
