Autopsy: Murder victim shot twice

PENDER COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — Investigators say a man killed yesterday in Hampstead died of two gunshot wounds.

The Pender County Sheriff’s Office says an autopsy shows Arnold Mock Sr. was shot once in the abdomen and once in the head.

Mock’s body was found in his Electric Lane home yesterday morning. Mock’s stepson James Gorby is charged with his murder.

I saw in other media that he was shot with two different guns. No matter. Two guns or not- two shots efectively precludes the popular defence, “The gun just went off!”
