WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Bookworms of all ages can find a good deal the next few days. The Friends of the New Hanover County Public Library are hosting their fall book sale at the at the Northeast Library near Landfall.

The sale, which runs through Wednesday night, has thousands of hardback and paperback books along with audio books and even records.

The books are donated by the citizens of New Hanover County. Proceeds go toward new materials for the library.

“We’ve earned $825,000 since 1983 from these sales, and last spring we made $56,000,” reference librarian Kelly Waller said.

Prices for books run from 50 cents to three dollars. The sale runs from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day.
