WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) -- The Wilmington Police Department's spider senses are tingling again. For the third time in less than a month, a store was robbed at gunpoint this morning by someone wearing a Spider-Man mask.
The latest incident happened just before 7 a.m. at the Gas Center at 4001 Market Street. That robbery came two day after the Country Store on Wrightsville Avenue was robbed. Back on Sept. 25, Spidey robbed the Gas Center at 604 South College Road.
Each time he's demanded cash and Newport cigarettes. One time he also got away with a cell phone.
Police believe the masked suspect is a tall, slim, black man with a deep voice.
If you have any information, call Wilmington Police at (910) 343-3600.

Peter Parker. He was unmasked so many times! Really. Every year the robberies around Halloween have masked figures. Who's next? Richard Nixon?

What a tangled web
he is weaving.
I hope the store owners are packing on his next trip to rob them.
And, I don't mean Newports.
Spiderman
He does have a real job. Robbing people. I suggest that at the next store, when he asks for Newports the clerk should come up with a shotgun and give him several new ports in his body.
