WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Forty-five people will be out of work when Time Warner Cable closes its Wilmington call center in December.

The cable provider is closing the doors to the Shipyard Blvd. facility that once employed more than 100 workers.

Time Warner announced last year that it will slowly move its call centers closer to Raleigh. It offered employees transfers to other call centers.
