WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Feeling lucky? You might want to go buy a Powerball ticket.

The jackpot for tonight’s drawing is an estimated $245 million. It’s the largest prize pool in the multi-state drawing since August.

Your chances of winning are about one in 195 million. Still that doesn’t stop many folks from dreaming of what they would do if they win I all.

“Probably the first thing I would do would be pay off my parents house and get them a vacation house, and then I would probably call a lawyer and a financial expert, so I wouldn’t whittle away all the money in three days, because I think I can do that,” said Chris Gordon as he bought tickets in Wilmington Wednesday afternoon.

Make sure to tune into WWAY NewsChannel 3 at 11 to see the winning numbers.
