WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — A documentary about the Battleship North Carolina is up for a regional Emmy Award.

Rob Hill of Common Sense Films has been nominated in the Best Editor/Program category for “Battleship North Carolina: The Showboat Legacy.” The half-hour documentary premiered back in May on UNC-TV. It explores the history of the Battleship and what it takes to maintain it as a National Historic Landmark.

The 26th Annual Midsouth Regional Emmy Awards will be awarded in March.
