GREENSBORO, NC (AP) — Federal prosecutors have asked a judge to bar two former commissioners from the Federal Election
Commission from testifying as expert witnesses at the upcoming trial of former Democratic presidential contender John Edwards.

Defense lawyers want the former federal elections officials, Scott Thomas and Robert Lenhard, to testify about their doubts that Edwards violated campaign finance law when two of his donors provided nearly $1 million to help hide and care for his pregnant mistress during his 2008 run for the White House.

In a motion filed Monday, prosecutors say testimony from Thomas and Lenhard would be irrelevant because there already will be a legal expert in the courtroom – the judge.

Edwards has pleaded not guilty to six felony and misdemeanor charges. His trial is set for January.

Look no further ..
I am a bar expert who will give you my recommendation at no charge.

I like the quiet neighborhood service industry feel of Coat of Arms on Wrightsville, The sea breeze at Dockside and Bluewater, K38 baja has very food south of the border selections, Tiny’s and The Harp are hidden and have cold beer, and I don’t advise downtown bars if you are over the age of thirty as there is too much drama…

There is my Bar advice Mr. Edwards.

Firebelly is a fun place to go without much drama. Except for when Vince Vaughn got in a fight and Steve Buscemi got cut there.
