WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY)-- Downtown Wilmington was glimmering with Christmas lights tonight as the annual Holiday Parade rolled through the city.
The parade began on N. Front Street, turned on Orange, and came back up Water Street.
The event featured marching bands, dogs in costume, and plenty of Christmas spirit.
Even people from out of town enjoyed the parade.
"Awesome parade," said New Jersey native George Sotomayor. "Lot of marching bands, pretty girls just went by."
The Wilmington Holiday Parade is in its 9th year.
