LELAND, NC (NEWS RELEASE) — Sheriff John Ingram reports that the Brunswick County Narcotics Division this past week arrested and charged Joe Clyde Robinson, who’s 75-years-old, and Dorothy May Bennerman, who’s 57-years-old, which multiple drug charges.

The charges include possession of marijuana and other controlled substances.

The two live in Leland.

    WWAY, hey, let’s pause here for a brief minute… I am 55 years old and there ain’t no way in you know where that I think myself a “Senior Citizen”…. I case I may have missed something, get me my Social Security benefit checks and a boat load of discounts.

    “and other criminal behavior” What do you mean by that? There was nothing implied in this news report that said these men were guilty of other crimes.
