WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — A bunch of elves visited the WWAY NewsChannel 3 studios today, and they didn’t come empty handed.

Childcare Network stopped by with a busload of Santa’s little helpers. Each child brought in a toy to drop off for Toys for Tots.

Teachers say parents were eager to help. In fact, the kids were excited to see the toys being collected at the daycare.

The young boys and girls filled up a large box of toys; so much so, it was overflowing. After that, they got to take a tour of our studio.

My daughter goes to Childcare Network. We love what they do to teach children about giving and sharing, and working together to help others. It is built into the daily work that these teachers do. We were excited to see this story about how children are helping the Wilmington community with excitement and pride!
