BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — The Brunswick County Social Services Board has scheduled two meetings scheduled before the end of the year, according to an e-mail from director Patricia Connelly. The move comes just days after a board meeting erupted in controversy when Chairman Charles Warren kicked board member Pat Sykes and a Brunswick Beacon reporter out of the meeting.

The Social Services Board was to meeting Tuesday and December 27. The next Social Services Board meeting will be held January 24, 2012, at 1 p.m., according to Connelly’s message, which did not give a reason for the cancellations. So has not yet returned a call or e-mail for comment.

The Brunswick County Commission, of which Warren is also a member and which appointed Sykes to the Social Services Board, says it is looking into what happened at this week’s meeting.

Mr. Warren is the Chairman of Brunswick Social Services, and sits on the Brunswick County Commission that will “look into what happened at the meeting” where he ordered a officer to remove and arrest Sykes.
He denies to the press anything happened, which was a lie, and also kicked out the Brunswick beacon reporter.!

This guy is too full of himself. He is not running a fiefdom.

Mr. Warren sits on 2 boards too many.

It’s time to open the books, and check how much money is going to illegal aliens in Brunswick county.

If you ever go to the Brunswick Government complex, and look at the vehicles out front of Social Services you’ll get a surprise.

His Social Services books need a through investigation.
