WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — ‘Tis the season for shopping, presents and gift-wrapping. One group has set up shop for the 19th Christmas in a row to help you make sense of the paper, ribbons and bows.

The Cape Fear-Marbella Chapter of the American Business Women’s Association is gift wrapping any and all presents at their Independence Mall location.

Vice President Violet Huggins says they make it simple, and the small cost has a big impact on our children’s futures.

“It saves you a lot of time, energy, effort, money and stress,” Huggins said. “That seems to be a very, very important thing. It also goes to a very good cause in the community because this goes back to scholarships within New Hanover County.”

Huggins says the ABWA has raised more than $80,000 for scholarships over the past 19 years.

The ladies will be wrapping away from 10:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. every day through Christmas Eve.
