Quit blaming your eviction on this kid. I am 100% sure that one month you supposedly couldn’t find your bills is not why you were evicted. I’m pretty sure you know when your rent is due. Grow up and take responsibility for your own actions or lack thereof (ie…paying your rent on time)I can assure you this kid will take responsibility for his actions, own them and do what is necessary to make things right. He is that kind of person. Obviously, from your comment I can tell you are not.

    Apparently you don’t….

It may hurt your anus that other people are smarter than you, but the ability to not commit crimes really isn’t anything that special. The fact that you try to lump honest people into some kind of category where they are the ones who did wrong makes me laugh. You must truly be brain damaged. Sure its understandable that people don’t like to hear about it when they did something bad, but that’s society. If he wasn’t meant to feel shame for his actions then it would never have even been in the news for all to see.

This kid hit my mailbox, i got evicted cause i couldnt find my bills all over the road the next day thanks to this “good guy”

Sorry, property damage isn’t a mistake, it is a crime. Crimes are not mistakes, they are choices made by criminals.
You amaze me that you would try to defend his actions. Keep on shaking that empty head of yours.

SMDH. Who the hell do you think you are? You enjoy judging someone you don’t even know. I’ve known Ryan for a few years, and yes he may party, but he is still a good guy nonetheless. He knocked over some mailboxes and it was a mistake. I’m sure he will be paying for it and has spent his time. The ignorance of you people is amazing. With your “intellect” I would imagine you would have something better do than to make insensible comments about a guy you don’t even know…SMDH

wow! look how judgemental some of you are. as if we all havnt done stupid things we are not proud of or have someone we love make huge mistakes and very wrong decisions. i certainly have. im happy for those of you who are perfect and have not.its nice to live in your own perfect world isnt it? i know his family and they are all great people.i agree this should not have made our news here and dont you think the parents are going thru enough right now,and have to read this rediculous ridicule about their child? it was very wrong, and im not condoning this behavior, but some of you are acting as if he is inhumane and deserves corporal punishment.the judge will determine whats right for this case.im sure in the decision will also be based on a sparkeling clean record and his excellent grades at one of the 3 best colleges in this state. this is a first and im sure the last huge cotastrophy he will willingly do and is facing the consequences,as are his parents. please re-evaluate your perfect performances as human beings. these are wonderful people too.even if a bad decision was made. i hope you all have a wonderful holiday and a great new year!

wow!! since when did we as humans have any right to judge one onther anyway. We all make mistakes no matter what it is. I think we all should just take a step back and try to fix the problem insted of makeing problems worse. After all these are just opinions Just so people know i have lived here all my life as well as been all over the world. EVERONE MAKES MISTAKES i also am a homeowner and have had this happen to me as well. i simpley went to kids parents and WE resolved it together. Good luck to the parents of ryan as i am sure he will,if not aready learned a big lesson in life, like alot of us do everyday.

I can’t say I’m surprised to see this, but it breaks my heart nonetheless. You’re a brilliant guy, with a tremendous family, and all the potential in the world. I have one question for you: Why?

Why do you continue to sacrifice your health, exceptional potential, and wonderful personality for the indulgence in superfluities such as alcohol? Is it really worth it?

Why has alcohol become the epicenter of your life? What good is it anyway? I sincerely hope you can find your greater purpose, and leave trivial things such as alcohol behind once and for all.

Most importantly, I wish I could hold your eyes open to the love that surrounds you, so that you could genuinely witness all of the goodness that is in your life; and find true satisfaction: in life itself.

Unfortunately, my hands aren’t that strong; but I know a man whose are. And I pray that He guide you away from detrimental self-indulgence, and into a life of love.

Luke 1:78-79 – “because of the tender mercy of our God, whereby the sunrise shall visit us from on high, to give light to those who sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, and guide our feet into the way of peace.”

Ryan McGee is a great kid for those of you who do not know him. He comes from a great family and has never had any issues with the law. WWAY should focus on the real issues of things that are relevant to Wilmington. This instance happened in Greenville therefore it is not even an issue for Wilmington. What was the purpose of this article? To make the McGee family suffer and have Ryan go through more embarrassment than he already is. Everyone has had too much to drink before and if WWAY and Wilmingtonians knew the true story behind this article I would hope they would have more compassion. There are murders, shooting, robberies, rapes, etc. that happen everyday in Wilmington and WWAY chose to put a teenager who made a mistake in Greenville on the news to embaress him in his family…pathetic. WWAY should feel completely ashamed for aiding in the humiliation for Ryan and his family. I have complete disrespect for the WWAY news team and so should the rest of Wilmington.

he was Cool Hand Luke? In the movie, Pul Newman took it out on parking meters and was sentenced to 2 years.

As this entailed postal delivery boxes, will this young miscreant also qualify for federal charges as well?

Glad to see that there are still some people out there that feel it is there god given right to speak up and cast despersions on someone they don’t know. Kids make mistakes. Thats the true spirt of the season. Merry Christmas……

He is one of the sweetest kids you will ever meet. Dont go judging him just because he did one stupid thing. Everyone makes mistakes and yes it was a stupid one. But hes learned his kesson an wway should have never posted this. People who actually live in greenville and do worse crap than this, dont even go through this. I think wway was Inconsiderate by putting his story up here. It isnt local news and its not something some kid has never done before. Your sitting here degrading him with yiur words, but think about what his parents and himself are going through thanks to wway. Somethings should be left alone and this is one of them. Think about if it was your kid who chose to do one stupid thing and this happened to him, you wouldnt want people to be talking about your child like that, so dont do it to others.
