WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) -- In two months we'll be decked out in our spring finest for the 65th Annual North Carolina Azalea Festival. This afternoon we found out who will rock and reign at Wilmington's biggest event.

This year's queen is familiar to the royal treatment. Miss America 2004 Ericka Dunlap will don the crown for Azalea Festival events April 11-15.

Those events include the Friday night, April 13, concert at Trask Coliseum headlined by American Idol winner and North Carolina's own Scotty McCreery. Tickets for the concert go on sale tonight on the festival's website and tomorrow at the festival office at 5725 Oleander Drive, Suite B7. The Wednesday concert will be announced at a later date.

Other festival celebrities include Miss North Carolina 2011 Hailey Best, former UNCW student and "The Bachelor" contestant Ashley Spivey, Maj. Gen. James E. Livingston (USMC, Ret.), former NASA astronaut Col. Jerry Ross (USAF, Ret.) and Sgt. First Class Hugh Conlon IV of the Wounded Warrior Project.
