CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) — North Carolina governor candidate Pat
McCrory is getting more help raising money from a sitting
Republican governor, Nikki Haley of South Carolina.

McCrory’s campaign said Thursday that Haley will headline a
fundraiser for his campaign Feb. 27 at a private home in
Winston-Salem. Donations to attend the reception range from $1,000
to $4,000.

Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal and New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie
attended fundraising events last fall for McCrory, the former
Charlotte mayor and 2008 candidate for governor. McCrory is
considered the presumptive GOP nominee this year.
