BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — Bridge work could slow traffic at night this week in Brunswick County.

The Department of Transportation will close lanes on US 17/74/76 the bridge over the Brunswick River in Leland. The closures start at 8 p.m. and run until 5 a.m. Lanes on the bridge will be closed every night this week and again next week.

We don’t want any more trash from Wilmington over here in Leland. Wilmington has its own problems, We don’t need them, In fact U can have the old police chief if U want him

Alright now. There are those of us who live in this side of the river that have nothing to do with Leland except having to drive through there to get to Wilmington.

Considering the news we keep getting out of Leland,DOT should just dynamite the bridge and keep the riff-raff on their side of the river.
