Jordan's former coach arrested again

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) -- The man who coached Michael Jordan at Laney High School is back in jail tonight.

Clifton "Pop" Herring is in the New Hanover county jail under a $600 dollar secured bond for failure to appear on a misdemeanor charge.

This is the second arrest for Herring this year. In January, police arrested him at the same scene where a missing woman's body was found.

Police say Herring was intoxicated and refused to follow their orders. He was charged with resisting an officer.

I love little stories like this

All you people whining about news worthy material should just keep it to yourself

I agree

I agree, this is not news. Now N.H. County sending Barfield, Dsvis, and nut case(Berger) to DC for a conference is news!! Are they driving together? Are they driving separately (who would be paying for gas)? How much will they be spending on food and lodging? Are there any family members going that we would be paying for? That is news to follow. I would like to be a fly on the wall when these three are together. Only thing(one) missing is the blow heart (Thompson).

Funny you should mention

Funny you should mention the Commissioners trip to DC in response to this article about Jordan's Laney coach. I have it on good authority that Davis used County funds for a private clinic up there with this guy yesterday:

why is this garbage news?

why is this garbage news? who cares about this stuff? sometimes, if you can't find any "news", things are better left unsaid. Less = better at times b/c this crap is ridiculous.
