WILMINGTON,NC (WWAY) — Wednesday’s sports on WWAY featured a little bit of everything. It included a sneak peak at the West Charlotte Lions basketball team. They’ll be playing the New Hanover Wildcats on Saturday in the 4-A state title boys basketball game in Raleigh. We also checked in with UNCW women’s basketball coach Cynthia Cooper-Dyke on Wednesday. Her Seahawks open the CAA women’s basketball tournament on Thursday in Maryland. Click play video to see these stories and much more.
