WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) -- The drinks are cold. The food is hot. The game is on. Welcome to Kickback Jack's.

"The Kickback Jack experience is just a great, electric atmosphere," said General Manager Kevin Giever. "There's a lot going on. We try to offer something for everyone."

Kickbacks opened in January and has been fostering an enthusiastic crowd ever since.

"The people of Wilmington love to have a great time, let loose and relax and that's perfect for our atmosphere," said Giever.

"It's just a real open environment and it's very welcoming," said Parker Stephenson. "I like all the waitresses. It's a very friendly staff. And we come up here just about every night because of it."

"Great hospitality," said Christopher Palmer. "I got all my friends over here playing pool. It's just a great atmosphere to make you feel like you're right at home."

Customers say other than being a great place to hang out, the food is good too. With big games like Duke vs. Virginia Tech, fans are choosing Kickback Jack's to cheer on their team. With 56 TV screens around the restaurant, customers say every seat is the best seat in the house.

Infomercial fluff

Wow, informercials masquerading as news. No information on the owners, when business started, if it is standalone or franchise, where it is located, how many people it employs, etc. Just how it FEELS. Cotton Candy has more substance than this article. What's next? BREAKING NEWS: Water feels wet? about free advertising

How is this a news story? Restaurants come and go in this town like the pollen from the trees...did the reporter, or TV station for that matter, work up a deal with Kickback's for a free "advertorial" spot in exchange for some lunches? Blatant...
