BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — A man wanted in Brunswick County has been arrested in South Carolina. Shallotte Police say Johnny Ray Longworth is a breaking and entering suspect.

The Myrtle Beach Sun reports Longworth, 48, was arrested yesterday after police said he tried to kiss and sexually assault a woman at a Myrtle Beach business, according to a police report.

The newspaper say Longworth is charged with second-degree assault and battery. He was scheduled for a bond hearing Wednesday morning at the Myrtle Beach Jail.

A woman working at a business on Broadway Street in Myrtle Beach told officers that Longworth entered the store at 4:22 p.m. Longworth then pushed the woman against the door frame of her office and tried to kiss her and grab her breasts, according to an incident report.
