WILMINGTON, NC (NEWS RELEASE) — After several years as one of the leading lingerie, sleepwear and shapewear retailers in Wilmington, La Bella Forma Fine Lingerie is closing its boutique at The Forum on Saturday, March 31, 2012. Despite the shop’s success and popularity, owner Rochelle Meyers has decided to close the store to pursue other interests and business opportunities. The Forum is a development of Wilmington-based Swain & Associates.

“Rochelle Meyers created the type of customer-focused, locally owned boutique that defines The Forum shops,” said David Swain, president of Swain & Associates. “We will miss her creativity and the many contributions she has made to our retail center and our customers’ shopping experience.”

Swain & Associates is in discussions with numerous parties who have expressed interest in the La Bella Forma location. The boutique includes 1,750 square feet and is located in Phase I of The Forum in between Spectrum Art & Jewelry and Torri Bell.

Since 1978, Swain & Associates has developed more than three million square feet of commercial and retail properties throughout the Carolinas. The Forum is a 106,000 square foot retail center comprised of more than 30 retailers, service providers and restaurants, and is the firm’s flagship property in Wilmington.
