WILMINGTON,NC (WWAY) — Ashley High School graduate Adrian Robinson is spearheading the SE 24 Classic. The all-star basketball game will be held in Wilmington on April 7 at Brogden Hall. “On the day of the event there will be 24 of the best high school players in the 910 region,” Robinson said. “The concept of the game came about because I was really tired of the kids from our area not really getting the recognition they deserved and being invited to any All-Star games after there basketball season. It also gives the kids that one last chance to play in front of friends and family and also gives them a chance to celebrate the hard work that they have put in over their four years in High School. On the day of the event there will be two games the first game will feature some of the best underclassmen that I’ve seen over the last couple months in the 910. Between games there will be a dunk contest and a 3 point shootout and after that what we have all been waiting for. It should be a good day of basketball full of action and highlights.
