BLADEN CO., NC (WWAY) — The Bladen County Sheriff’s Office says Daniel Trey Horne, 24, of 33 Rosemont Lane Clarkton was arrested and charged with impersonating an EMS employee on March 23rd.

EMS employees were dispatched to a call March 17th on Mitchell Ford Road Clarkton to find Horne at the residence. Horne told telecommunicators when he was talking to them on 911 that he was a paramedic and told the EMS employees on the scene that he was a paramedic in Sampson County.

Horne was dressed like an EMS worker and spoke like an EMS worker. Horne also has been charged with Impersonating an EMS Employee in Sampson County and that charge is still pending in court.

Horne stated that he did represent himself as an EMS worker because he always wanted to be involved in that profession.

Horne was released on a $1000 unsecured bond.
