WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Starting a business in a down economy can be risky but the creators of Men, Ink say there’s a demand for their product.

Men, Ink is the first of its kind in Wilmington. Produced and printed locally, its a magazine for men, by men. Revenue is driven by advertisements, so the quarterly magazine is free for readers.

The Editor-in-Chief, David Frederiksen, stopped by ‘Good Morning Carolina’ this morning.

“Men are coming to their own in similar ways that women did in the 70s so lets see what that’s all about. These guys have a lot to offer, there’s a vast interior life so its exciting to explore,” Frederiksen said.

The next issue of Men, Ink should hit stands the night before Father’s day.
